Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) The United States Air Force, LCMC/Operational Contracting Division, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking potential sources, including small business (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses, that are capable of providing freestanding laboratory furniture for the Blood Transfusion Lab. Firms responding shall specify that their products meets the specifications provided below and provide detailed product information to show clear technical compliance. Additionally, sales history including recent commercial companies sold to shall be included to determine commerciality. The specific technical requirements are as follows: 1. Laboratory Work Surface a. Must be heavy duty chemical resistant laminate b. Have a scratch resistance finish 2.0 to 2.5 Newton c. Weight requirement 500lb to 700lbs 2. Laboratory Work Stations (Qty 6) a. Must be 36"H (standard) (+/-1 inch) b. Cabinet and file drawer storage c. Hutch 3. Island Work Station (Qty 1) a. Must be 36"H (standard) (+/-1 inch) b. Weight requirement 500lb to 700lbs c. File Drawers 4. Administration Area (Qty 5) a. Must be 30"H (standard) (+/-1 inch) b. Have locking drawers c. Cabinet and Drawer Storage d. Hutch 5. Analyzer Table (Qty 1) a. Must be 6'L x 2.5'W x 3'H (standard) (+/- 1 inch) b. Weight requirement 1000 lbs to 1200 lbs c. Medium Cherry finish 6. Storage File Cabinet 5 Drawer (Qty 2) a. Must be 15"W x 26"D x 60"H (+/- 1 inch) b. Tan 7. Storage File Cabinet 4 Drawer (Qty 1) a. Must be 42"W x 19"D x 54"H (+/-1 inch) b. Tan 8. Administration Chair (Qty 5) a. 18" to 22" height adjustable 9. Lab Stool (Qty 7) a. Height Adjustable 22"H b. Moisture resistant 10. Hutch with glass doors (Qty 6) for Lab Work Station a. 1-2 adjustable shelves b. Non-porous moisture resistant surface shelves c. Task Lighting d. Fabric Tack Board 11. Hutch with doors (Qty 4-5) for Administration Area a. 1-2 adjustable shelves b. Have locking doors c. Task Lighting d. Fabric Tack Board 12. Installation per design layout, assemble all items per manufacture specifications and the site should be cleaned up after assembly and installation. Note: All of the free-standing furniture must be ordered in the sizes specified due to the sizes of the hard wall offices the furniture will be installed in. The desk, credenza and bridge must be at the standard work surface height of 30" (+/- 1 inch). There are locking components to each of the (6) sets of furniture. All of the locks must be cored to the same key number so that each set of office furniture has one key to open everything. However each set of furniture should have a different key number for security purposes. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce the requested equipment to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. The NAICS Code assigned to this acquisition is 337127, with a 500 employee size standard, Firms responding should indicate their size in relation to this size standard, and indicate socio-economic status (SB, 8(a), HUBzone, SDVO). Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses, or any particular small business designation (e.g. SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.). Capabilities package: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort.
