Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) LSRP Remote Hosting of Cerner Millennium PathNet Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)for the Laboratory System Reengineering Project (LSRP) Request for Information (RFI) VA118-13-I-0014 Instructions This is a Request for Information only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is soliciting for information related to the objective described in the attached document. Interested parties are invited to review the attached Statement of Objectives and to make comments or suggestions. The goal of this RFI is to provide a procurement framework that may be used for a subsequent acquisition. Nothing in this document should be considered binding or in any way obligate VA to perform. VA welcomes comments on any part of this document. This is a Request for Information (RFI) notice issued in accordance with FAR 15.201(e) to conduct market research. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is not, at this time, seeking proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The RFI Instructions, Statement of Objectives and Information Requested are outlined above.
