Description
The Pearl Harbor naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intend to procure a Firm Fixed-Price purchase order for Dry Ice vent cleaning of the laundry room interior exhaust ventilation system aboard a Navy Vessel located at the PHNSY & IMF. The performance period is approximately 15 days beginning 16 November 2012 (6:00 P.M. 6:00 A.M.) to 30 November 2012 (6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.). The Contractor shall have a NAVSEA Code 05Z42 and NSWCCD-SSES Code 921 approved Dry Ice vent cleaning procedures. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classifications System Code (NAICS) and the small business standard for this procurement is 336611 and 1,000 employees respectively. Detailed specifications and requirement information will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) or Solicitation Number N32253-13-T-0005. The RFQ /solicitation is scheduled to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 17 October 2012. Quotes shall be submitted via email to james.murakami@navy.mil by 11:00 A.M., Hawaii Standard Time, 31 October 2012, to be considered for award. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the SAM database to receive any contract award or payment. The SAM website is http://www.sam.gov. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and on an all or none basis. The Government will award a contract resulting from the RFQ/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the RFQ/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering quality and price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. All comments and questions regarding the RFQ/solicitation shall be submitted in writing and sent to the following email address: james.murakami@navy.mil.
