- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Flight Inspection Standards (FIS), intends to award a single-source contract for Flight Data Monitoring software and annual support. The FAA intends to issue an award to Aerobytes LTD (DUNS 221735553) of Cranleigh, GBR, for the required services. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on standardization and Patents, Proprietary data, and unique items of the vendor. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. The proposed NAICS code for this acquisition is 423430, "Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant", with a size standard of 100 employees. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
