- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors interested in a Housekeeping Contract at USAG-Kaiserslautern, Sembach Kaserne, Germany. The contract is intended to be a one year base period with two, one year options for a total of 3 years. The Government intends to award a contract with Firm-Fixed Price Contract Line Items (CLIN). The Government intends to post the solicitation on or about 1 November 2012 and award by 5 December 2012. A pre-proposal site visit may be scheduled as part of the solicitation. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 1 November 2012. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov) website. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually monitor FedBizOpps for changes and updates to this contract action. The contractor will provide all labor, management, tools, equipment, supplies, chemicals, supervision, transportation and other items required. All work performed shall be in accordance with all applicable U.S. and Host Nation laws and regulations to include Army regulation 420-1, TM 5-609 and Certification RAL Guetezeichen Gebaeudereuiigung (RAL-GZ-902) and ISO 90001. Cleaning will include similar items to the following: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, carpet shampooing, window cleaning, trash removal, toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, washers, dryers, etc. The contractor will also be responsible for changing bedding but not washing the bedding. The work will be accomplished in 3 buildings to include 8 multipurpose/classrooms, 13 administrative offices, 1 kitchen, 2 laundry rooms, 1 conference room, 154 bedrooms, 84 bathrooms and several portable trailers that contain 4 sinks, 4 toilets and 4 showers each. Cleaning may also be required outside of normal business hours as required.
