Point of contact: Holly Knott, Contract Specialist (Contractor), email: holly.b.knott.ctr@us.army.mil The following verbiage is directly from the Justification and Approval for sole source and is posted in accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6). This is a Sole Source Justification for an AlterG M320 Anti-gravity Treadmill for the 42nd Medical Group Physical Therapy Clinic on Maxwell AFB and 375th Medical Group on Scott AFB. The M320 anti-gravity treadmill supports full range motion for the upper and lower body, keeps patients in place and maintains lateral support preventing falls typically associated with rehabilitation. AlterG owns all rights and patents to anti-gravity treadmills. The technology was developed by NASA and further developed by AlterG for medical rehabilitation. Users can choose to reduce their effective body weight by as much as 80% (in as small as 1% increments). AlterG anti-gravity rehabilitative exercise treadmill equipment considerably lowers the stress on healing leg muscles, tendons, and hips typically seen with normal treadmills. Place of Performance: 1) Maxwell AFB, Alabama 2) Scott AFB, Illinois
