- The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before 4PM on Monday October 29 2012 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Garber Metrology has been providing on-site calibration, repairs and certification of foundry scales for the past several years. They are registered on the Certified Subcontractor Register of Calibration Providers as per Instruction NAV4734.1B and meet the scope of work criteria needed to perform the work. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333997. All responses may be emailed to Stephen Ngotho at Stephen.ngotho@navy.mil and reference number N4215813RC30029 no later than 4PM on October 29, 2012 EST.
