- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a new requirement for the Dry-dock, Repair, and Maintenance of USACE Corps, New Orleans Government Watercrafts, and shall be competed under a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ Small-Business Set-Aside MATOC contract. Approximately five (5) awards will be made under the MATOC. The total price capacity shall not exceed $5,000,000.00. This IDIQ shall be limited to five contractors, and estimated price shall not exceed one million dollars each. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the business size standard is less than 1,000 Employees. Solicitation shall be procured as firm fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract having a base and four option years under FAR 12, Commercial Items. The RFP and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments updates offerors library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website. The solicitation release date is 22 November 2012 with a closing date of 21 December 2012. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) which is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-99). Therefore you must be SAM registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
