Description
Kit T This is a pre-solicitation notice published in accordance with FAR 5.201 announcing a proposed contract action. The proposed contract action anticipated release date of the solicitation/request for proposal (RFP) is in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) at least 15 days of this posting. The Air Force intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with The Boeing Company for Hydraulic Fixtures (KIt T) for the A-10 Systems Program Office (SPO). The A-10 Wing Replacement Program has the need for a quantity of two (2) A-10 Hydraulic Fixtures Kit T Part number 162D211000-5001ATP. The purpose of the tool is to provide accurate locations for the interface of hydraulic lines for the A-10 centerwing to the fusalge. The tool requires standard tooling tolerances. The Technical Data Package is a Model Based Definition which contain the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements of the tool. The model is in a Seimens NX CAD system file format and maintained in the Teamcenter data management system.The tool has over 1000 Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) notes for all the detail parts of the assembly, it requires very accurate tool manufacturing. Attached is a picture and a bill of materials. If the determination that the Government pursues action detailed information will be provided. The delivery schedule is 15 weeks receipt of contract award. It is the intent of the Air Force to award a Firm-Fixed Price single award contract. All questions in regards to this requirement shall be submitted in writing via email to kristin.stoker@hill.af.mil and nathan.toole@hill.af.mil. All questions must be sumbitted by 4:00pm MST on 16 November 23, 2012. No questions will be accepted by phone or fax. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps website to assure they have the most up-to-date information about this requirement.
