- The attached document is a request for information for qualified vendors to support BLS data collection activities for the Office of Employment and Unemployment Statistics. Vendors are requested to submit a capabilities statement and completed market research questionnaire. The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking qualified contractors that can provide support for data collection activities undertaken by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, (BLS). The proposed acquisition will be classified under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541910. The primary purpose of this Request for Information is to provide professional technical support to the BLS Office of Employment and Unemployment Statistics in fulfillment of its responsibilities to collect quality data in a timely manner each month so that detailed industry estimates on employment, hours, and earnings of workers on nonfarm payrolls are produced. Specifically the tasks outlined below will support BLS data collection operations located in Federal space and with Government owned equipment. The tasks are in the following cities: Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Washington, DC for three nationwide statistical surveys: • Current Employment Statistics Survey (CES) • Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) • Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program This RFI is open to all socio economic classes of business.
