- Network Contracting Activity 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide Point to Point Private Line Metro E Services. The contractor shall provide Point to Point (PnP) Metro Ethernet Services at a rate of 100 Mbps, Business 5.0 and local phone service to the North Florida South Georgia Veterans Health System for the period of 10/01/2011 through 09/30/2013. 1.Provide 100 Mbps Metro Ethernet Service from 1601 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, Florida 32608 to 1515 Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida 34470. This connection must be compatible with Cisco Catalyst 6000 switch technology. Circuits must be 100Mps (Hard Wire) Private Gigabit Network, not integrated via public network cloud. 2.Provide cable and cable modem services at 4805 SW 34th Str. Gainesville, Florida 32608. This connection must include basic cable and internet services. 3.Provide 1ea single line telephone service at 16708 N.W. 32nd Avenue, Newberry, FL 32669, including the capability to make and receive both local, and long distance calls. 4.One on one customer service (one representative assigned to North Florida South Georgia Veterans Health System, subject to change with OI&T approval). 5.Notification of down time must be communicated to the COTR within 15 minutes of incident with updates every 30 minutes until event is over. 6.Down time should not exceed 6 hours. 7.Customer service and emergency service must be available 24 hours per day 7 days a week to include holidays and weekends. 8.Provider must provide customer service capability to activating and deactivating services. 9.Account must be password protected. 10.Patrick Martin will be the COTR for this contract unless otherwise instructed by the FCIO. THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES AND A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS Code 517110. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to respond.
