- "THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO MEET THE TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS." This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for a Total Small Business Set-Aside for a Single Award Contract in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth, Texas. Please note that this Pre-Solicitation notification informs the Small Business community a solicitation will be forthcoming and open to interested small business vendors who shall submit a proposal to be evaluated for a contract award. All questions regarding this announcement should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: joey.grismore@usace.army.mil. Questions pertaining to the project will be submitted to ProjNet. https://www.projnet.org/projnet/ The Bidder Inquiry Key number will be available when the solicitation is posted. PRIMARY INTERESTED VENDORS: Interested Vendors must register through the "Interested Vendors" Tab under this pre-solicitation notice to receive notice when the Solicitation is posted. This Total Small Business opportunity will be issued as a Design-Bid-Build to meet the requirements for the following customer located at: Fort Hood, Texas. SITE VISIT: The site visit date, time, location and contact information will be in the solicitation when posted. Interested parties whom may attend the site visit will be required to submit information in accordance with the solicitation. Contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division (SWD) customer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, a corresponding Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 1542, a Classification Code of Y1EB, and a business size standard of $33.5 million. Solicitation and Amendments will be made via FEDBIZOPS only on or about 28 Dec 2013. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date in the solicitation. Magnitude of Construction $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Project: Brigade Complex, Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility,(TEMF) Brigade Complex, Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility,(TEMF) Construct standard design brigade complex facilities. Project includes company operations facilities with covered hardstand and vehicle maintenance shop. Primary facilities also include organizational vehicle parking, Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants storage, hazardous material storage, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) storage and maintenance facility, special foundations, fire protection and fire alarm systems, mass notification system, installation of intrusion detection systems (IDS), and energy monitoring and control system (EMCS) connections and building information systems. Supporting facilities include electrical, water, sanitary sewer, and gas utilities; exterior and security lighting; fencing, paving, walks, curbs and gutters; storm drainage; information systems; landscaping and site improvements. Special foundation work is required due to expansive soils. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self- contained systems. Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) will be provided.
