Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. MONTANT NATIONAL GUARD W9124V-13-T-0002 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR FORT HARRISON LAUNDRY INCLUDING: TRAINING SITE LAUNDRY and CENTRAL ISSUE FACILITY LAUNDRY 01 February 2013 - 31 January 2018 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 812320 and the size standard is less than $4.5 million. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, effective 1 June 2008 & Class Deviation 2005-00001. Vendor shall propose a firm fixed per-item price for cost of performing laundry in support of the Training Site and the Central Issue Facility of the Montana Army National Guard. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable determination will be the deciding factor in award of contract. Contract will have renewal option for an additional four years beyond 31 January 2014 (thru 31 January 2018). Fort Harrison Training Site Headquarters (1956 Mt Majo Street, Fort Harrison, MT 59636-4789). Laundry Service for FT Harrison Training Center Support Facility (TCSF): 1.Training Center Headquarters requests laundry service for the TCSF laundry. This laundry includes twin size flat linen, pillow cases, twin blankets and twin comforters. 2.Laundry Specifications: a.Mechanically washed b.Minimum water supply temperature for wash of 130 degrees F. (54 degrees C.) c.Minimum wash time of 8 minutes d.Hot air tumble dry or ironed at 300 degrees F. (150 degrees C.) e.Separate area for storing soiled laundry and folding and storing clean laundry f.Separate carts for transporting soiled and cleaned laundry 3. Instructions: a.Laundry will be folded and separated to match size and type and color 4.Service Requirements: a.Service to be performed weekly b.Pickup and delivery at Fort Harrison Training Center Laundry Service for FT Harrison: 5.Training Site Headquarters requests laundry service for the BOQ laundry. This laundry includes linen (flat, fitted and pillow cases), mattress pads, blankets, comforters, and towels (bath, hand, wash). 6.Training Center Headquarters requests laundry service for the TCSF laundry. This laundry includes pillows, twin size flat linen, pillow cases, twin blankets and twin comforters. The CIF receives unknown quantities of these items each month from soldiers returning from deployment or out-processing and requires services to clean and repair these item prior to re-issue. The provision of 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (April 2002) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3 Alt I clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Janaury 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors are considered.
