- Sources sought synopsis announcement is issued to assist the 673d Contracting Squadron, JBER, Alaska, in performing market research to determine interest and capability. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP) and responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award. This document should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become 673d Contracting Squadron property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to the request. Request is for a 12 month base plus one each three (3) month option period for a total performance period of 15 months. JBER, AK is seeking interested sources capable of Packing, Crating, and Drayage Services of Household Goods (HHG) and Unaccompanied Baggage (UB) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), including the Clear Air Station, Fairbanks, and Delta, Alaska geographic areas. Contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. In addition, Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other items necessary to perform Packing & Crating services in accordance with (IAW) the Performance-based work statement (PWS). The contract(s) awarded from the solicitation is planned to run for a 12 month base plus one each three (3) month option period, for a total performance period of 15 months. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991, with a business size of $25.5M. A follow-on Base Year with Four Option Years contract is anticipated immediately after expiration of this contract. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, identification of business size under the applicable NAICS code, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB; (2) a list of the company's most recent and relevant (within the last three years) DoD or commercial contracts and a brief description; and (3) information demonstrating the company's ability to perform these services. Respondents are asked to limit submissions to ten pages or less. Any information provided is voluntary. All eligible firms responding to the Sources Sought must ensure their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's qualifications to perform this requirement.
