- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) plans to establish a Department-Wide Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle for the purchase of uniforms. The US Customs and Border Protection Agency has been designated as the Executive Agent on behalf of DHS and all of its component agencies for this acquisition. Approximately 120,000 employees are authorized to participate in the DHS National Uniform Program under this acquisition. Uniformed employees are located throughout the United States and foreign locations. Department of Homeland Security components will utilize the proposed contract for their uniform needs. The original posting for this proposed contract was done as an RFI under notice 20069182-RAT and an Industry Day Special Notice ID-20069182-RAT. This posting constitutes the pre-solicitation notice for this requirement. The final solicitation package will be issued on/around 21 February 2013. A second update with more information will be published closer to this date. The applicable NAICS code is 315990 (Classification Code 84).
