- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tennant Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 6 each JEROME J405 MERCURY ANALYZER (W/COMM) 115V, ITEM NO. J405-0007 The intended delivery date for the item is 2 to 3 weeks. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source order/contract to Arizona Instrument LLC, 3375 N. Delaware Street, Chandler, AZ 85225. This firm is the sole manufacturer of the product. To use any othe type equipment would be detrimental to the integrity of the data collected and will not satisfy the government agency requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 500. All responses received within ten (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time, Friday, December 28, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
