- The Department of the Army, Healthcare Acquisition Activity- North intends to negotiate a Sole Source commercial item procurement with A-DEC Inc., to provide a 500 Series Dental Delivery System. This proposed procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than December 26, 2012, 1:00p.m. EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. This is a Sole Source Justification for a 500 Series Dental Delivery System for the 52nd Medical Group at Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany. The Spangdahlem Dental Clinic is equipped primarily with A-Dec systems and to ensure maintenance continuity and components compatibility with the new system we are requiring.
