- USMS Questionnaire and Market Research Survey USMS Questionnaire and Market Research Survey THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Solicitations are not available at this time. This sources sought announcement is published for market research purposes. This notice is issued preliminary for planning purposes only. This notice does constitute a commitment by the Government. The U.S. Marshals has a requirement for Interviewing Techniques Training, with practical exercises to be included. All services shall be provided in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work. The associated North American Industry Classification(NAICS)code for this requirement is 611699, with a business size standard of 10.0M. The Government contemplates making a single award, firm-fixed price, requirements type contract. The period of performance will be for one(1) base year, and four(4) one year option periods. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement by completing the attached Market Research Questionnaire and submitting your company's experience, qualifications and abilities to meet the requirements listed above. Send your response to Donnell R. Sam, Contracting Officer, via fax or email. Information shall be submitted by 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on January 11, 2013. All responses to the market survey questionnaires should be emailed or faxed to the POC listed below prior to the responses date/time. No requests for information, requests for clarification or questions concerning this notice will be provided in response to telephone calls. Format communications such as requests for clarification and/or information or questions concerning this notice should be submitted via email or fax to the POC. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10, market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of any additional sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity this received or responds to this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: (FAR 52.204-7) Prospective contractors must be registered in the SAM database prior to award of a contract. By regulation, no DOD contract can be awarded to any contractor that is not registered in the Department of Defense quote mark System for Award Management quote mark (SAM), formally the CCR database. If your company is not registered in SAM you may do so by going to: http://www.sam.gov. You may be required to provide your company's Dun and Bradstreet number.
