Description

SPECIAL NOTICE The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System proposes to negotiate a noncompetitive award with NETWORKFLEET, INC. for the provision of real-time monitoring as well as maintenance of the GPS systems which are proprietary to NETWORKFLEET, INC, and which are being utilized on the medical center's vehicles. NETWORKFLEET,INC. is the sole source provider of the NEWTWORKFLEET products and services. NETWORKFLEET, INC. is the manufacturer of the 3500, 5000 and 5500 series devices and is solely responsible for its products as well as maintenance and replacement parts. This award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competition. All submissions should be sent to Iris.Ramirez@va.gov no later than 01-04-2013, referencing Solicitation Number VA256-13-1-0188 by 1:00 p.m. (CST)
