- This notification was originally posted on 14 December 2012 under Solicitation W912QR-13-R-0022 and is hereby amended to W912QR-13-B-0004 on this day, 2 January 2013. This procurement is not a new requirement. All subsequent changes and/or inquiries for the subject project shall be addressed to solicitation W912QR-13-B-0004. The Renovate Laboratory Facility - Building 20045 will be constructed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The project is approximately 34,000 square feet in size, and includes interior demolition and the replacement of HVAC, power, lighting, and fire protection systems. Work will also include replacement of interior partitions, doors, frames, and hardware, and finishes. The project will contain the following as options: B20167 Demolition and Furniture Procurement. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by the Columbus District Office, Cleveland District Office and other 8(a) construction firms with a bona fide place of business within the geographical competitive area, and the assigned NAICS code. All other 8(a) BD Participants are deemed ineligible to submit offers. This acquisition is a single phase, design-bid-build procurement utilizing the sealed bid process. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract duration is 365 calendar days. Approximate issue date of the solicitation is 7 January 2012 and approximate proposal due date is 6 February 2013. Please note these dates are approximate and may change without notification. A site visit will be held at Wright-Patterson AFB, specific details regarding the time, location, etc. will be provided in the solicitation. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project and is for information purposes only. Detailed information will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation and subsequent amendments and special notices, if necessary, will only be accessible through the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Access to view and download the solicitation and/or amendments is permissible by registering at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The Unites States Army Corps of Engineers (Louisville District) is responsible for this procurement. All inquiries and comments shall be submitted through ProjNet at http://www.projnet.org/projnet.
