- Contract No.: GS-35F-0668S Task Order No. R13PD80108 TAS: 14 4524 (FAR 8.405-6(b)(1))- Authorizes the use of brand name specifications if the particular brand name, product, or feature is essential to the Government's requirements. The Vocus public relations media software has been chosen by the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) because based on the market research and responses to the sources sought announcment Vocus' software is specialized as it is the only software that provides a separate area for media and non-media contacts. It is also the only vendor that can meet Reclamation's needs in providing federal and state elected legislative government officials contact information, as well as their staff. Other public relations media software combines the media and non-media contacts and requires the procuring agency to provide the contact information. The Vocus public relations media software also has the ability to directly upload news releases to PRWEB while Reclamation is distributing through the application. The Vocus public relations media software also interfaces with Critical Mention. This is very important because Reclamation currently has a contract with Critical Mention to monitor all news anchors, syndicated shows, journalists and consumers to identify when Reclamation is mentioned in the content of any of these vehicles.
