Description

composite timbers solicitation 10" x 10" x 20' Composite Timbers 17 Each Material The timbers shall be made of high density Polyethylene with ultraviolet stabilizer. The timbers shall be 10" x 10" x 20' with 4 - 1 ¼" fiberglass reinforcing bars running the length of the timbers. The timbers shall be yellow in color with radiused corners. The timbers shall meet or exceed the following properties: Modulus of Rupture 4800 PSI Flexural Modulus 477,000 PSI Stiffness 3.59E + 08 lbs. PSI. Compression Modulus-Parallel 253,000 PSI Weight per foot 40 lbs/ft Delivery The material listed above is to be delivered within 30 days of award to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Illinois Waterway Project Office at 257 Grant Street in Peoria, Illinois 61603 between the hours of 8:00 AM & 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday exclusive of Federal Holidays see solicitation attachment
