Description

This notice constitutes a combined synopsis and solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Albany, New York intends to award a firm, fixed price service contract to perform a visual internal inspection of fifteen (15) high voltage manholes located at Stratton Albany VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208-3410. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 and the size standard is $14.0 million. The solicitation package will be available on or about January 4, 2013. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for January 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM EST. The period of performance for the work is 60 calendar days after date of award. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
