Description

NAVSUP FLC San Diego Regional Contracts Department anticipates procuring contractor support services to provide onsite safety shoe mobile delivery for FRCSWS employees. This would be accomplished through a mobile shoe delivery service every two weeks; at FRCSW Building 333 parking lot on Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) in San Diego California during the hours of 1130 to 1430. The contractor is required to travel to three (3) off-site locations (Camp Pendleton, California; Yuma, Arizona and Lemoore, California), zero (0) to two (2) times per year to provide the same service. This contract will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Intentions are to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract, with a one year ordering base period plus one year option year ordering period. The Government ™s maximum quantity of safety shoes ordered during a one period is 700 units (pairs of safety shoes). The Buy American Act is applicable to this procurement; if both domestic and foreign safety shoes are offered the foreign safety shoes will be evaluated in accordance with DFARS 225.105. The Berry Amendment is not applicable to this procurement. The contractor must have the capability and resources to deliver safety boots to all the military bases mentioned above. The contractor must be registered in SAM. Applicable NAICS Code is 316210 “ Footwear Manufacturing. The RFQ - Solicitation will be available for download on or about 10 January 2013 and will close 22 January 2013 at 1200 Pacific Standard Time.
