- SCOPE OF WORK. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management and other related supplies and services (except as provided herein as government furnished) as required and necessary to perform accessibility to secure remote access SSL VPN service(s). PERSONNEL POINT OF CONTACT. The contractor shall provide a point of contact that shall be responsible for coordination of the contract and shall act as a central point of contact with the Government. The contractor shall provide a local telephone number or toll free telephone number for use by the Government to place oral requests for repair of equipment. QUALITY ASSURANCE. The Government will monitor the Contractor's performance under this contract using procedures specified in the SOW and pursuant to the clause titled quote mark Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial items quote mark. QUALITY ASSURANCE EVALUATOR. The QAE shall have authority to call attention to discrepancies between the contractors' performance and the requirements of the contract. The QAE cannot alter or waive any requirements defined in the specifications or any other contract documents. DEFINITIONS QUALITY ASSURANCE. Those actions taken by the Government to evaluate services to determine whether they meet requirements of the SOW. QUALITY ASSURANCE EVALUATOR (QAE). Representative of the Contracting Officer who performs surveillance of the Contractor's performance to ensure conformance by the contractor within the terms and conditions of the contract. QUALITY CONTROL. Those actions taken by the contractor to control the production of goods or services so they will meet the requirements of the SOW. SOFTWARE. Programming material operating systems, etc. for a computer (as distinguished from the physical hardware components of the computer itself). FAIR WEAR AND TEAR. For the purpose of this contract, fair wear and tear is defined as equipment failure caused by reasons not attributed to the fault or negligence of the operator or other personnel, fires, wrecks or acts of God, i.e. floods, lightning, etc. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED ITEMS. The Government will provide the equipment listed in the schedule and consumable supplies. CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, management and other related supplies and services (except as provided herein as government furnished) as required and necessary to perform accessibility to secure remote access SSL VPN service(s). SPECIFIC TASKS GENERAL. The contractor shall provide services, necessary to provide access to the secure remote access SSL VPN Service(s). Software support shall include any contractor sponsored modifications, improvements or revisions thereof at no additional cost of the duration of this contract. SOFTWARE SUPPORT. The Government shall be provided with full documentation of all contractor changes and/or modifications to the software identified in the schedule. Software support, maintenance upgrades, and replacement of existing software shall be provided during normal business hours. 24 hour diagnostic monitoring via the Service Our System (SOS) call response feature shall be included. On site response to SOS calls will be provided during normal working hours. MAITNENANCE DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINES. The contractor shall have available diagnostic software for the purpose of testing the components of the system collectively and individually for proper functioning and reliability during operations. TECHNICAL INSPECTION FOR DAMAGE. The contractor shall conduct technical inspections in support of requests made by the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) authorized representative. Technical inspections will establish the condition of the equipment, the extent of repairs required, and if damage is from other than fair wear and tear. The contractor shall complete a repair estimate listing all defective parts/components to be replaced, cost of replacement parts or components and man-hours that will be required to accomplish the repairs. Technical inspections shall be completed within three (3) working days from original date of repair requested by the Government. One (1) copy of the repair estimate shall be furnished to the DES authorized representative upon completion of the technical inspections. No repairs in excess of the current order will be accomplished unless authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer in a modification. This authority may not be delegated. Period of performance is 01 FEB 13 - 31 JAN 14
