Description
THE SMALL BUSINESS VENDOR OUTREACH SESSION IS NOW CLOSED. Please monitor the FBO website for future vendor outreach sessions in the upcoming months. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will host a Small Business Vendor Outreach Session, on January 23, 2013, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The purpose of the session is to provide insightful information to small business representatives on how to 1) narrow marketing to focus on specific bureaus, Independent Offices and/or requirements; and 2) successfully conduct business with USAID. The venue will be in the form of presentations with time for Q&A. It is a unique opportunity to listen, learn and network. COST: Free REGISTRATION: If you like to attend this event, please send an email to OSDBUVOS@usaid.gov to register. In the subject line include VOS-January 23, 2013. *The first 50 people to send an email will receive a link to fill out a registration form.* Registration will open at 7 a.m. on January 3, 2013 and close at 10 a.m. on January 7, 2013. Registrations received prior to the open time will not be acknowledged. Space is limited to 50 persons. The OSDBU requests that only one person from each business attend. You will receive a registration confirmation via email when you complete and submit your registration. The confirmation email will provide security information and other necessary information. YOU MUST receive a confirmation email to attend and we ask that you bring a copy of the confirmation with you on January 23rd. Registration requests will not be accepted via telephone. Event registration is on a first contact basis until the 50 person limit is obtained. You will be provided with to a link to fill out a registration form. *Note: Firms and individuals that are on the Excluded Parties List need not register. All firms must have current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), formerly the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
