- The Operational Contracting Division (AFTC/PKOAB), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the Trimble FX and VX laser scanners in order to fulfill the requirements for a mobile 3-D spatial measurement device or combination of systems. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), the announcement number is F1T0CY2244AG02. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Requirement - Provide a mobile 3-D spatial measurement device or combination of systems with: A range of at least 1 meter Data rate of 150,000 per second average Accuracy 2mm at 50m Have the ability for the user to perform a check in order to see if calibration repair is needed Have an extension device wand/rod of at least 4 ft to allow for single data point collection Field of view 360 deg X 270 deg (horizontal/vertical) Scanning that supports flat targets and spheres Less than 25 pounds Auto tracking of wand/rod Auto leveling feature Tripod mounted Battery powered AC power supply/charging rod 5 days of on-site training Post processing software compatible with Windows OS Vista or higher A ruggedized laptop with a good graphics card Windows 7 OS or newer and at least 4 gigs of RAM Accessory case included Any and all tools for special operations and maintenance All applicable operations and technical manuals Warranty for up to one year after purchase For questions, contact Kristin Sapelak by e-mail only kristin.sapelak@eglin.af.mil.
