- Synopsis: Request for Information / Sources Sought Invitation for Industry Comments THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Regional Contracting Office - Alaska. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regards to its submission; other than acknowledgement of receipt - if a request for an acknowledgement is requested by the submitter. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Government. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources that may be interested in providing full time services to administer, install, maintain, and repair the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System III (ICIDS-III) components, sensors, connections, system writing, control units, and conduit at Fort Greely, Alaska (FGA) that are an integral part of the DAQ Electronics, Inc. System with Graphical map and Windows Operating System. The interested party must be DAQ Certified and able to perform the work described and to solicit industry feedback relative to various aspects of the proposed contract effort. The Regional Contracting Office - Alaska has a requirement for a Technician to administer and maintain the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System at Fort Greely, Alaska. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621-Security Systems Services. The small business size standard is set at a maximum of $12.5 million dollars annually. Work/Service consists of installing, maintaining, and repairing, the Integrated Intrusion detection System III (ICID'S-III) components, sensors, connections, system wiring, control units, and conduit. ICID's -III is an integrated part of the DAQ Electronics, Inc. system with graphical map and Windows Operating System. Personnel shall be DAQ Certified have a least 1 year work experience administrating, maintaining, and repairing and ICID's -III system, at least 3 years alarm systems maintenance and repair experience documented low voltage training. Personnel will work jointly with Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) ICIDs Alarm Administrator, administrate the Intrusion detections System/Electronic Entry Control System/Closed Circuit Television (IDS/EEC/CCTV) systems, install, and maintain purchase, install and maintain additional IDS/EECS/CCTV for required facilities indentified.
