Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: N0016813RC04E03 Notice Type: Sole source synopsis Synopsis: The Healthcare Acquisition Activity-JTF CAPMED, Bethesda, MD, intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, sole source contract to provide Maintenance for Drager Anesthesia Machines. This service will be used at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Anesthesia Department. The requirement is for preventative maintenance, calibration and safety testing (see attached Equipment list). The contractor is to furnish all parts, software upgrades, certification testing and maintaining of safety records that comply with applicable federal, state and regulatory requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 and the size standard is $19 milllion dollars. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination made by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 10:00 AM EST, 18 Jan 2013.
