- Brand Name Delinquent Debt Certification Specs This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. The attached SON is incorporated into the solicitation. Solicitation number NRMJ1400RQ00337 is being issued as a Request for Quote. This acquisition is being solicited using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334112 and business size is 1000 employees. NOAA/OAR/ESRL has a requirement for NetApp FAS2240 appliance with appropriate software and licenses as detailed in the attached Specifications document. This is a Brand Name acquisition in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) including 3 year warranty. The resulting purchase order shall be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Incomplete quotes will not be evaluated or considered. The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. The provisions and clauses may be downloaded at http://www.acquisitions.gov/far and http://www.ecfr.gov. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide the items as listed above may respond to this request for quote by submitting a quote to be received no later than January 17, 2013 at 9:00 AM EST. The Government reserves the right to make one award or no award at all as a result of this solicitation. Questions are to be emailed to chere.j.sanders@noaa.gov.
