Description
V-22 ITV DRAFT CDRLs A001-A003 V-22 ITV DRAFT SOW Description: V-22 Internally Transportable Vehicle (ITV) Pre-Solicitation Announcement Contracting Office Address: US Special Operations Command, Headquarters Procurement Division, 7701 Tampa Point Blvd, MacDill AFB, FL 33621-5323 The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Directorate of Procurement has a requirement to purchase a non-developmental item (NDI) vehicle. This vehicle will be a highly mobile, V-22 transportable platform with associated manuals, operator training, and sustainment support to include personnel, spares, and consumables. The requirement is for a minimum basic quantity of 2 vehicles each with the ability to purchase 8 additional vehicles. The requirement also includes Interim Contractor Support (ICS) and New Equipment Training (NET). This procurement will be accomplished using full and open competition with the intent of awarding a three (3) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, issuing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Orders. It is the Government's intent to release a Request for Proposal (RFP), H92222-13-R-0014, on or around 31 January 2013, which will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Once the solicitation is released, Industry will have 30 days to submit a proposal. Offerors shall prepare their proposal in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336112, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. A small business subcontracting plan is required for all offerors that do not meet the small business size standards under this NAICS. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) has been released with this synopsis. Interested vendors are welcome to submit comments concerning the draft SOW. Comments may be taken into consideration when finalizing documentation prior to RFP release. This effort was previously advertised on FBO as a Sources Sought Synopsis under number H92222-12-V22ITV.
