Description
Requirements This is a Sources Sought Notice to identify Government facilities, small businesses, especially those in the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) program, HUBZone program, Service Disabled Veteran Owned program, and Woman Owned program that are capable of providing hotel space for the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Retirement Services (RS). This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposal, or Request for Quotations. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract, nor do they affect a potential offeror's ability to respond to any future synopsis/solicitation, which may or may not follow or restrict the U.S. Government's eventual acquisition approach. Additionally, the U.S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this notice. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding. OPM's Retirement Services (RS) provides Federal employees, retirees and their families with benefits programs and services that offer choice, value and quality to help maintain the government's position as a competitive employer. Retirement Services consists of Retirement Operations and Insurance Operations, as well as three offices that report directly to the Associate Director: Quality Assurance, Benefits Officers Training and Development, and Resource Management. RS's Benefits Officers Training and Development (BOTD) office has a need for a single facility in one of the following cities: San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Kansas City, Greensboro, Raleigh, Portland, Houston, and Seattle, for a five (5) day period from May 20-24, 2013 to provide a series of workshops on Retirement, Insurance, Social Security, and Thrift that represents the best value to the government.
