Solicitation Number: SOL-NC-12-00039 Notice Type: Synopsis Synopsis: This is a Synopsis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The proposed requirement is for all services, material, equipment, and labor to construct an NCore multi-pollutant monitoring station containing air sampling instrumentation including meteorological instrumentation, data logging hardware, software, manuals, supporting documentation, communications and any other equipment and supplies as specified in the NCore Readiness Checklist available on EPA?s web site at: http://www.epa.gov/ttn/amtic/ncore/guidance.html. Each turn-key NCore monitoring station will minimally consist of the following: the station shelter, gas monitors, sample manifold and other supporting equipment, ten-meter tower, meteorological sensors, data logger, and full turn-key operation of the station at the designated NCore location with a standard one-year warranty. The proposed contract will require at least one, with the option to establish up to four additional, NCore multi-pollutant monitoring stations at specific sites throughout the United States and it s territories. This is a new requirement. This acquisition will not be set-aside, and will be conducted on a full and open basis. The government anticipates an award of a firm, fixed-price contract. No response to this synopsis is required. A solicitation is anticipated on about January 28, 2013. The solicitation package, as well as other related documents and information, will be posted on the EPA website at: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/index.htm#solam. Interested offerors are advised to monitor the EPA website at the above link and the Federal Business Opportunities website for the solicitation and for any other updates in regards to the solicitation.
