- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT Scope of Work Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21(NCO 21) anticipates issuing a solicitation as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using FAR Part 14 for Project No: 662-13-006, Project Title: Relocate and Repair Main Steam Line at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC) located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Scope of Work includes, the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision and transportation as necessary to perform all work as described in the contract documents, approved drawings and specification. Work includes creating a new steam utility corridor along Bldg 12 connecting to NE corner of Bldg 205. The contractor shall include all drawings and sketches as part of the bid package. The steam lines shall be connected from building 205 to the decidable field location approximate to area shown on attachments, photos, and during site walk. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220. Project Magnitude is between $250,000 to 500,000. The Government intends to ISSUE THIS SOLICITATION AS A "SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS" SET ASIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC LAW 109-461 for an award of a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, subject to the Availability of Funds. All bidders shall be registered on www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov prior to receiving a government contract award. The anticipation of the solicitation issue will be on/about February 15, 2013 Qualified contractors are encouraged to attend a pre-proposal conference / site visit. The exact date and further details shall be provided in the solicitation.
