Description
Statement of Work Social Security Administration is issuing this Sources Sought notice for a contractor to research and collect information on international social security programs. In accordance with FAR 10.001(a)(2) the Social Security Administration (SSA) is conducting market research before developing requirements for possible acquisition of preparing manuscript copies of four regional volumes of Social Security Programs Throughout the World. The four regions covered are Europe, Asia and Pacific, Africa and the Americas. This is a Sources Sought announcement, a market survey for electronic/written information. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded. This is a request for information only. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information, for planning purposes, regarding: (1) the availability and capability of potential sources that can provide the required products/services described in the attached Statement of Work and (2) the size classification of the available and potential sources relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. The NAICS code for this planned acquisition is 541720 - Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Your response to the information requested will assist the Social Security Administration (SSA) in planning the appropriate acquisition strategy.
