- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a Delivery Order against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) # N00104-08-G-0001 to procure eight (8) Integrated Electronics Controller (IEC) Modification Kits from General Electric Company (GE), General Aircraft Engines Company, 1 Neumann Way Cincinnati, OH 45215-1988. The Integrated Electronics Controller (IEC) Modification Kits contain all the necessary equipment to upgrade the LM2500 Hydro Mechanical Main Fuel Control (HM-MFC) system to a Digital Fuel Control (DFC) configuration, resulting in increased system reliability. This IEC kit procurement is in support of continued efforts related to LM2500 engine modification efforts supporting CG-47 class cruisers and DDG-51 class destroyers. The kit is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) item designed, developed, and exclusively manufactured by GE. No solicitation is available.
