Map Solicitation Solicitation Number: AG-9A63-S-13-0021 Notice Type: Solicitation Synopsis: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES -- ONLY VENDORS WITH A CURRENT BLM IDIQ CONTRACT WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. This opportunity is available only to the Contractors awarded a Contract under the BLM "Hazardous Fuels Reduction Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) for California", contract line item 0007. The Forest Service has a requirement for hand thinning and piling services on the Plumas National Forest. It is the intent of this task order to secure services for chainsaw thinning and piling of brush, trees, and dead surface fuels. The project consists of an estimated 58.9 acres with two optional bid items for an additional estimated 27.3 acres. It is the intent of the Government to award a task order on an existing IDIQ contract. There is a pre-bid tour scheduled. See the solicitation for details. Vendors that cannot make the scheduled tour may visit the area on their own; no other agency-escorted tours will be offered. The anticipated award of this task will be as an order under the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Fuels Reduction IDIQ, Solicitation number: L09PS00981
