Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western Logistics Service Area has a requirement to perform routine fire life safety maintenance and testing at the Denver International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower, and at the Denver TRACON. Work includes, but is not limited to the following. Maintain, test, and repair the Federal Aviation Administration Fire Life Safety Systems at the Denver TRACON and DIA ATCT, IAW applicable National Fire Protection Standards and the FAA Order, Fire Prevention & Maintenance of Fire Protection Equipment. Contractor must be able to respond to emergency call-outs within 2 hours. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: 1. Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. 2. Capability Statement “ In order to qualify, potential vendors must be certified as factory authorized Simplexgrinnell or Siemens technicians. Provide proof of certification. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000. For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169." All responses to this market survey must be received by Friday, November 14th at 3:00 P.M. PST.
