- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This is not a request for proposals. Subject: Medical Product Development Support Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract Issued for: U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) and Other U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) Subordinate Commands, Fort Detrick MD. Background: The Government is contemplating the award of multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to support all aspects of medical product development for USAMMDA and other USAMRMC subordinate commands. In preparation for this solicitation, the Government is releasing a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), draft Evaluation Criteria, and asking questions to vendors in order to obtain industry feedback. Industry responses to the questions in this RFI may shape the Government's final acquisition strategy and resulting solicitation. The following documents are attached to this RFI: Draft Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1), Draft Evaluation Criteria (Attachment 2), and Questions to Vendors (Attachment 3). Attachments can be accessed by clicking the Additional Documentation link beneath the Additional Info heading below. Information Requested: To respond to this RFI, please address the questions in Attachment 3. It is preferable for all questions to be answered but any comments regarding the attached documents will be accepted. Do not respond with information about your company's ability or capability to meet the requirement described in the draft documents. Answers to questions should be concise and address only the information requested. Responses: The closing date for responses to this RFI is March 12, 2013 by 4:00PM EST. Responses must be submitted to Ms. Dana Kavitski, Contract Specialist, via email at the following email address: dana.kavitski@AMEDD.army.mil. Insert 'RFI Response' in the email subject line. No telephone calls will be accepted. NOTE: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or issuance thereof. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or award. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
