NAICS CODE: 721110 Title: LODGING FOR 27 CREW MEMBERS OF NOAA SHIP HI'IALAKAI DURING FY13 SHIPYARD PERIOD AT LAKE UNION DRYDOCK IN SEATTLE, WA Response Date: JANUARY 22, 2013 by 10:00 AM (Pacific) Solicitation or Reference Number: AB133M-13-RQ-0140 Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ). Written quotes are being requested. A hardcopy written RFQ will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Operations Center located in Newport, Oregon has a requirement for lodging for 27 crew-members of NOAA Ship Hi'ialakai during FY13 Shipyard period at Lake Union Drydock in Seattle, WA. The entire Solicitation is attached. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 721110 with a small business size standard of $30 million. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with period of performance commencing approximately from FEBRUARY 6, 2013 to MARCH 20, 2013 with one option period not-to-exceed 30 days. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within seven (7) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 526-6025 attention to Leslie C. Markey or email at leslie.c.markey@noaa.gov. This is a simplified acquisition. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. AB133M-13-RQ-0140.
