- Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Arizona, intends to modify an existing Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract, number W9124R-09-C-0003 with TRAX International Corporation located at 3120 East Post Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89120-2706 for Test Support Services (TSS) at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. The Government anticipates extending the current performance period by a total of eight months. The initial six-month extension (01 March 2013 through 31 August 2013) will be issued pursuant to the authority at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which is currently provided for in the contract. The Government also anticipates negotiating an additional two-month period of performance for services through 31 October 2013. The eight month extension period is necessary to provide for the continuation of essential services in support of the test mission under the direction of the USAYPG pending award of a competitive follow-on long term contract. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541330 Engineering Services (Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons) with a standard size of $35.5 Mil. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
