This is a market survey for Border Security System Software Sustainment and Network Operation Center/Security Operation Center (NOC/SOC) Support for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor �s expense. The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined; however, it is anticipated the FAA will solicit and negotiate on a single source basis. It is further anticipated the resultant contract will contain a two-year base period with four two-year options (to be exercised at the discretion of the FAA). The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of performing this software sustainment and NOC/SOC support. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort: NAICSSize Standard 541512$25.5M The contractor will supply personnel and resources necessary to provide support to CBP in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Please note, this draft PWS is subject to change. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors (limited to 25 pages) in accordance with the attached draft PWS: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: - Type of services provided by your firm - Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance) - Number of years in business 2. Clearly state whether or not you can provide all of the types of services required and if you can supply them to all of the geographical locations listed in the draft PWS. 3. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. CST, 17 January 2013.
