Description

Federal Supply Class (FSC) 1320, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325998. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue an Unrestricted Request for Proposal, W52P1J-13-R-3018, Carnauba Wax. This procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements contract with a no guaranteed minimum quantity and a maximum quantity not to exceed 936,000 pounds of Carnauba Wax. FOB Destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester OK. Approximate issue date for this solicitation is 28 January 2013 with an opening approximately 30 days from date of issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the websites and is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes. All contractors who provide good/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
