- Description
- Ground Maintenance Solicitation Document Released Version- Not DRAFT. GROUNDS MAINTENANCE. The subject acquisition is for non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Barksdale AFB in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The contract will be an Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish this requirement. The contractor will be required to maintain a management office on Barksdale AFB in order to provide other management services related to accomplishing individual jobs. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades related to grounds maintenance. The performance period will be a twelve-month basic year with 4 twelve-month option years, with an anticipated contract start date of 1 April 2013. It has been determined that the proposed contract's competition will be limited to 8(a) firms with the assigned NAICS code (561730). Joint Ventures are allowed. PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A Pre-Proposal Site Visit will be held on 31 January 2013 at 09:00 AM CST at Barksdale Air Force Base. All interested parties must submit names of attendees to karina.reyes@us.af.mil & richard.compton.4@us.af.mil by 04:00 PM CST on Thursday 24 January 2013. A Pre-Proposal Briefing will be held at 2 CONS Conference Room prior to the Site Visit. All attendees who do not have access to Barksdale Air Force Base please meet at the East Gate off Industrial Drive at 08:30 AM CST for escort. ALL QUESTIONS POST SITE VISIT MUST BE SUBMITTED TO karina.reyes@us.af.mil & richard.compton.4@us.af.mil NO LATER THAN 5 FEBRUARY 12PM CST. * The purpose of this Amendment is to update the Solicitation document so that there is no longer "DRAFT" on page 1. No other changes have been made. *
