- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Installation Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: Annual Software Maintenance on Government-owned NetTerrain software to include updates/upgrades The intended delivery date for these items is 31 January 2013. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Graphical Networks, a registered small business. This firm is the original and sole developer/manufacturer/distributor of the NetTerrain software program and there are no authorized resellers able and authorized to perform required updates/upgrades during the annual maintenance period. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $25 million. All responses received within six (6) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, 21 January 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
