- Vendor Collaboration Event - Top Teaming Tactics: What Primes Really Want NOTE: You Must respond to the following email address and NOT TO RHONDA TRENT: OMWI-Outreach@occ.treas.gov as discussed below. FREE EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL BUSINESSES. Businesses not registered PRIOR to the event will not be allowed to participate ─ NO WALK-INS. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is hosting a vendor outreach event entitled Top Teaming Tactics: What Primes Really Want to provide technical assistance for small businesses and women and minority-owned businesses interested in entering or growing their contract opportunities with the Federal government. The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises national banks and federal savings associations. The OCC's goal is to ensure federal financial institutions operate in a safe and sound manner and in compliance with laws requiring the fair treatment of customers and fair access to credit and financial products. The OCC's annual procurement expenditures are approximately $140 million, with the top spend categories primarily in the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes: 541519; 541611; 541513; 541310; 524210; 541512; and 518210. The OCC utilizes the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules (Multiple Award Schedules) Program for many of its contracting needs. The agenda for Top Teaming Tactics: What Primes Really Want includes: (1) what primes really want; (2) your "fit" checklist; (3) teaming types; (4) teaming agreements and beyond; and (5) the meeting and briefing toolkit. Attendees will also participate in a structured networking session with representatives from other businesses. WHERE: Constitution Center, 400 7th Street SW, Conference Center Auditorium, Washington, DC 20019 DATE: Wednesday, February 27, 2013 TIME: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm REGISTRATION INFORMATION: All vendors must register in order to participate. Vendors who do not register in advance cannot participate. The registration period opens on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 2:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, and closes on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time. The FBO notice will be updated when the registration spaces are full. Registrations must be sent to the OCC's Office of Minority and Women Inclusion e-mail address at: OMWI-Outreach@occ.treas.gov. The e-mail must include Top Teaming Tactics in the subject line, with the name and address of the company, the company's DUNS number, and the full name of the person/s attending the event in the body of the e-mail. Registration requests that do not contain the aforementioned information will not be considered. Registration requests will not be taken by telephone. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE ARE ONLY 150 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. The event is free and open on a first come, first served basis. Security information and location details will be sent with your confirmation e-mail within 3 business days of receipt of your registration.
