Description
US Government Seeks Leased Space The United States Government seeks to lease first class commercial office space of about 2,060 BOMA Office Area square feet ( 2,370 rentable square feet) in an existing building in Portland, Maine. The specific delineated area is: On the northeast by Franklin Street to Middle Street On the southeast by Middle Street to Temple Street On the southwest by Temple Street and Federal Street to Congress Street, to include Monument Square, and from Congress Street to Chestnut Street, and then Chestnut Street to Cumberland Avenue On the northwest by Cumberland Avenue to Franklin Street The space must be contiguous on one floor. One secure, structured on-site parking space is required, and at least 6 public parking spaces must be available within the delineated area. The building and space must meet Government requirements for security, fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. The term shall be for 10 years with a right to cancel after 5 years. Please include the following information in your response: 1. Ownership name and address 2. Building address, picture and site plan, and floor plan of proposed space with size of demised area labeled in feet 3. Energy Star rating 4. Evidence of availability of funds to build out the space 5. Proposed rental rate with cost of operating building broken out, including real property taxes 6. Location of parking, both on-site and public spaces 7. Building Certificate of Occupancy 8. Age and type of building fire alarm systems, and whether building has a sprinkler system 9. Stairwell description and locations of stairwell exits 10. ABAAS / ADA compliance regarding building access and travel route to offered space
