- DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Regional Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOC) for Design-Build Construction Projects within the Boundaries of the South Atlantic Division, USACE. Task Orders placed against this Single-Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) include, but are not limited to demolition, construction, renovation and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, industrial processes, building control, and other features of work related to building systems or systems related to industrial processes and manufacturing. The contract is not only intended to execute new construction, and design-build but to provide timely response to remediate real and personal property facilities, e.g. maintenance, repair and construction related to, but not limited to, mechanical, plumbing, structural, electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), fuel systems and instrumentation. Other miscellaneous tasks may include carpentry, painting, masonry, roofing, asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and abatement as necessary for each individual task order necessary to facilitate the repair, replacement or new construction of building or industrial systems. Orders may be issued solely for construction services or for design/build services. No orders will be issued for design services only. The contract value is $45,000,000.00. Period of Performance is five years (base year plus four option years). PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: This solicitation will use the Two Phase Design Build procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.303. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The solicitation for Phase One will be issued on or about 05 February 2013 with proposals due on or about 05 March 2013. The solicitation for Phase Two will be issued only to the Most Highly Qualified Offerors identified under Phase One. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. You must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov/ in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
