Description

DESCRIPTION: The James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Fl intends to solicit a commercial (FAR Part 12) competitive requirement for Whole Blood Products and Services via FedBizOpps.gov Electronic Posting System at http://www.fbo.gov. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 621991, Blood and Organ Banks and the size standard is $30 Million. This is notice of intent solicit competition to the maximum extent practicable for this service. More detailed information will be found in the solicitation document to include a detailed scope of work and price schedule. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is January 31, 2013 with a proposal due by March 4, 2013. The contractor shall provide all whole blood products and services to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL in accordance with the specifications of the solicitation/contract. Interested sources are responsible for reading the solicitation in it's entirety when posted and to provide a well organized proposal addressing all questions.
