Description

Network Contracting Office 12 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Steris Corp. for Steam Sterilizers to match existing compatible equipment located at the VA Hospital, Madison, WI. This equipment is on mandatory supply schedule 65 II A and this procurement is being conducted in accordance with VAAR 808.002 Priorities for Use of Government Supply Sources. Contract is firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms that believe they can provide the required equipment are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 PM EST, January 21, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries will only be accepted via e-mail to chad.turner@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored
